Why you think Ancient Civilizations disappeared?

TheseSouls (@aarow) 8 years, 11 months ago

I’ve never put a lot of thought into WHY ancient civilizations disappeared and mainly figured they died off because of starvation of because of an event they not prepared for. It its odd that so many advanced (for there time) groups of people would all just suddenly disappear.

As I was watching a speech last night the speaker called us as “a species with amnesia” and and it got me thinking on other ideas and stories I’ve heard. How we forget what it’s like in haven when we come to this world, kids remembering there past lives for a short while, or what connected me to this new idea the most is the theory that as a species we were already at a high level of conciseness and inter dimensional. Another species like us supposedly attempted an experiment to move off the planet only to fail and rip open the dimensions causes us the forget who and what we are.

These, like my own idea, are just theories in my eyes. I’m not saying any of this is fact but it got me thinking about a new idea that maybe we ARE those ancient civilizations and they didn’t disappear. That maybe something happened to make us forget and leave our history very murky. Anyways that’s all I got. I just wanted to give you all a new idea to play around with.

@aarow, You said it – we are those ancient civilizations.

The evolution of technology, monetary system, and market economy have brought us to a state of humanity in which it’s very uncommon and often difficult to live a life like humans used to. If you meditate, people think it’s weird. If you talk about consciousness and spirituality, you’re a “new ager.”

People cling so tightly to their imagined selves. It’s not right or wrong, it’s just where we are as a species. I believe, however, we’re starting to remember again.

Sounds like you’ve been watching spirit science.

Most of those ancient sites were inhabited for a long time and still are, though maybe not exactly on the same location. The ruins are usually layered, sometimes they find 4-5 different societies stacked on top of each other as they evolved and rebuilt through time.

United States hasn’t existed for very long, not nearly as long as some ancient civilizations lasted. But even before we formed, the natives were living here. I agree history seems to show that nothing lasts forever, so eventually United States would succumb or evolve into something new. But it’s hard to imagine what that would be or how the “ancient united states” will look in the future. The earth is so populated now that there’s not much space left to move to or occupy. It would take a mass death event to recycle society again. If that doesn’t happen, we already record our history in the present and have computers to store data, so nothing will every be lost and there won’t be an archaeology team digging up century old sky scrapers and trying to understand how they lived

I totally believe the possibility that we’re reincarnated and forgetful of our true existence just as we’re forgetful of our dreams each new day. But I think it’s a little extreme to say a group of people caused that by trying to leave earth and creating a rift in dimensions or something. We hardly understand time and space as it is, so I’d have to see a lot of evidence before believing something like that. Interesting theories though and I’m sure the truth is a lot more wild than we can imagine.

Well, those ancient civilisatons all died sooner or later, simply because all do. First the roman empire (speaking of europe) becuase they were becoming soft, then the medieval culture because it was oppresing and outdated, then the “modern” monarches, as they were way outdated and even worse (the french queen as peasants were standing in front of their gates shouting for bread:”If yuo dont have any bread, why dont you eat cake?”). Our culture is going to be ancient in a few thousand years, if we havent destroyed ourselves till then.

I feel these ancient civilization didn’t die, they got mixed with newer or other civilizations (willfully or not) and ancient practices, rituals, traditions, and ideas were lost in the transition and because such practices no longer visible does not mean they are extinct.

If you look at history broadly, there is a notable progression to a singularity. In the long past, you could of had millions of different civilization all over the world trying to prove themselves to be above another, now all you have are Whites, Asians, Blacks and Indians (with all the typical stereotypes about them). On the web, all you have is “People” and… “Trolls”

The question I feel we should ask is not “What happened to the ancient civilizations?” but “Why are they considered ancient civilizations?”

Ancient civilisation are the ground we walk on, the ideas we used and created upon. We are that civilisation that has forgot about the natural law of time creation, today we could say our DNA in old days we could say the numerology of natural law. Divine thought in a sense of using imagination,- market our future.

In a sense it is only us that moves and space that grows,- and our neurological pathways to grow within its growth.

So in a sense ancient cultures are around us, within us, we forgot that we are timeless, we have indoctrinated ourselves with a system that tells us what it is rather then learning why it is. so one can learn from why, instead of how…. it is the question you ask yourselves that relates to the nature,- we are nature,- understanding a year of nature tells us why our emotions fluctuate,- as above so below…[email protected], @aarow,

Understanding our immediate surroundings,- mimicking,- growing to mimick is how we got lost and machined to listen to an elite that is steeling from us.

@aarow, I believe that around 13000 years ago some kind of event took place which sort of “wiped the slate clean.” Most likely was the ice age ending. Civilization existed along the coast at the time because of the ice sheets taking up much of the land masses, The ice melted into big lakes which eventually built up and suddenly very rapidly broke causing massive flooding aross the world. That is why structures have been found 4-600 feet underwater.

I also think Antarctica holds some very important things underneath it’s snow/ice.

Because we, humans, and our devices are only temporary. I believe there were ancient civilizations that we don’t even know about, even before ancient egypt. Think about it. The first civilization was supposedly only 5,000 years ago? But we started spreading out from Africa 500,000 years ago. Sure we were only wandering animals then but thats thousands and thousands of years of unrecorded history. That was before paper, before written language, before official documentation.

Reading Graham Hancock’s Fingerprints of the Gods right now and he is making a good case for a prehistoric civilization that preceded both the Egyptian and mesoamerican civilizations and lended a commonality to the two. For instance gave them their building methods, advanced mathematics, as well as some of their mythology. My personal opinion though is that it may be DMT containing plant medicines (ayahuasca, Syrian rue, etc) and mushrooms that are the precursors and common thread in so many cultures that lived prior to 2000 years ago. I truly believe that if ingested frequently and from a young age that these substances revealed important concepts to the users, both spiritual and metaphysical. These drugs are the doorway to the ancient aliens that people say helped build these ore-historic cities. The knowledge came through the pineal gland not via UFOs. I think a lot of the living out of balance we see in the modern world is our disconnecting from these sacred and knowledgable, symbiotic plants. It seems about 1500 years ago, and ever since, there has been a crusade or colonial pursuit to eradicate societies that use the plants and exterminate their cultures so that they are almost no-existent. I think we need to bring back the scared and ritualistic use of the plants to reconnect with the ancients or at least to understand them better.

@aarow, Economies do that, they have growth, golden eras and gradual declines, culminating in an invasion by a rising or more stable neighbouring civilisation.

I believe the ancient Mayan civilisation may have been discovered and absorbed by China, contrary to prevailing ideas.

@aarow, Nice table of thought foods here! And such a wonder-filled bunch of hungry folk! Thanks for the party, TheseSouls!

The casserole of delight is ‘We Are These’…We Are Anasazi, We Are Mayan, We Are Lumarian, We Are Arcadian, We Are Atlantian…to name only a few of the many most are ‘familiar’ with…Sooo many ‘others’! We Are of many who did not use written or oral communications, We Are of many who simply left their domains ‘intact’ for those to be re-minded later. Our diversities today reflect Our All-ness, does it not?

Oh, but the conditioned ‘needs’ that stifle us & Us! That beloved spice of ‘scientific proof’ is not always on the table, is it? Oh, effin well…pass the salt & pepper nonetheless! There cannot always be ‘proof’, because for those that still walk with Us here, it is not a logical thing to provide. It would mean to endure immediate incarceration, torturous dismantling of their nature, and inevitable destruction of their-kind…Just the way ‘science’ operates. And in the ‘end’, only what Our human mgmt. system would want to release as proof would be allowed…if anything at all. “We can’t handle the truth!”, or so We are told.

No worries, Darlins’…If you imagine it, ‘It’ came from somewhere! Explore these creative thoughts…from inside out. Enjoy the adventure of re-discovery…look closer of stuff about with a mindful love of Freedom, rather than of “I gotta have one of these!” or “I could make a killing exposing this!” Trust me here…You do not want the kind of attention You would most definitely be ‘exposed’ to with such thinking! Peeps of this kind ‘disappear’ every day…and I do mean every day, in every way.

However, fear-tactics aside, the Nature of here is beyond Amazing…Never cease to be Amazed, and this Nature will ever-support your desire to be just as Amazing. Just keep Wisdom as dear as this, Beloveds, and Good Life will surely be yours…always & all ways.

Good Journey! :D
