-You choose to work somewhere all your life, that wears you the fuck out.
-You choose to retire and sit on your ass all day.
-You choose to gobble up as much garbage as you can, while not burning a single fucking calorie.
-You choose to eat a bunch of fucking pills throughout the day.
-Then you choose to have the NERVE to fucking bitch about all of the aches and pains caused by the above AND give advice to others.
This OBVIOUSLY does not apply to everyone, and I am just ranting based on my surroundings. But, from what I observe from the people all around me including my own family and friends, this is what I see. I guess the population will control itself.
@kyle, I think we are all trained to BELIEVE our sources are limited.
We believe this because we are told that we need money.
To get it we need to work. So we work. Then we hit an age where minimum age is not enough. You can’t live off of that.
So we work more, harder, longer. We’re not sure for what, but at this point we’re convinced we need everything that’s in our house aka “the closet” where we keep all of the stuff we buy.
It always seems a little unfufilling but everyone else is doing it. The madness is we are paying for places we won’t spend much of our time–because most of our time is at work.
We’re trained in school to be morons, and now you’re mad that the country is full of morons? LMAO.
Please. How about we all recognize that there is more than enough for everybody and that “paying” for things is just absurd…
@adamm0ss, To me, age is just a number. It is a number that people put on their lives to limit themselves, and so that they can have a reason not to do something. A lot of people call being unhealthy ageing, but I call it choosing not to be healthy. Not caring enough about yourself to give a fuck.
@iamnobird, I agree with you for the most part.
“How about we all recognize that there is more than enough for everybody and that “paying” for things is just absurd…”
I do believe in paying for things, but don’t like how there is limited opportunity for better jobs to pay for those things. I don’t like how in order for us to pay for even the bare essentials these days we need to go into debt.
You’re going to get old whether you eat right, don’t smoke, have a great job, or whatever else you consider good. Can you feel better as you age? Of course. But don’t count on it. When you’re young you think old people made all the wrong choices. Maybe they did, maybe not. There just are no guarantees in life, and no, you are NOT always rewarded for you good choices. You are NOT always lucky enough not to inherit a disease or propensity for disease. It’s easy to be self-righteous when you’re young–remember that.
