What’s your favorite colour and why?

Mine is black.Mostly because black is a color of elegance. It symbolizes the darkness.Anything in black looks good.Phones,Consoles,Laptops,Books,etc.

Gee,did I sound like some goth/emo teen?

Green.
My signature colour is green. It’s almost obsessive. I’m like that girl who has pink everything, but instead of pink, its green. Lime green shoes, clothes, water bottle, controllers, pillows, blankets, jewelry, lighters. I love green. Lime green, especially. Its a happy colour, it makes me feel…whole. Reminds me to live, stay alive, have fun. To be vibrant. To grow. To be healthy.

Haha I fucking love green.

For me its a light blue – like sky color. It feels expanded, magical, dream-like, and creates an indescribable feeling of lightness(like I am just floating), openness, coolness and satisfaction in me.

Another difference I have noticed is that there is a difference between a object just reflecting off a particular color vs. a radiant object actually emitting that color. Like the sun is radiating yellow light while a yellow color wall is just reflecting yellow.

When I imagine my favorite color, I think about what color would I like to radiate from my body and see all around me.

How do you guys imagine color? I find it quite an exercise in imagination to hold on to one color. Usually I start off with the room I am in and imagine the color slowly spreading to all objects: table, chair, floor, walls and then outside buildings, roads and the sky.

Then I imagine my body itself becoming that color and then I imagine all my internal organs converting into that color. Until now, there is a bit of shading/depth in the imagination. Lastly I remove that depth element by removing all shading and just imagine one unified color with no depth and I am entirely that.

Navy, Magenta, Mustard Yellow, Emerald Green and Egyptian Green. Cause they all rock. But I can’t wear Mustard Yellow or Egyptian Green because it looks terrible with my Olive skin tone.
And I guess I like them because they are warm and sensual as well as lively.

Ive always loved aquamarine since I can remember. Probably because of its ability to be both serene but vibrant at the same time. At least to my eyes.

burgundy, deep brown, to the point it is almost black, turquoise, forest green (actually most shades of green) really deep purples and I’ve got an appreciation for terra cotta.

I do however absolutely despise the colors puce, olive green and beige
