How filmmakers manipulate our emotions using color

Like music in an elevator or a doctor’s waiting room, color has the power to influence how we feel without our even noticing. Film directors have exploited our connection to color for decades.

The psychology of manipulating the masses through emotions is a studied science. This is only one other aspect of programming through mass psychology, along with sloganeering, subliminal messages, emotional musical impact and any other variety of shaping mass psychology. Most people are blissfully unaware of how their psyches are being controlled and directed through such emotional manipulation, and few would believe how controllable they actually are if you told them.

hey, martouk was really intrigued about what you just said, are there any books or documentaries you can recommend pertaining to manipulation of the masses through psychology?

I just finished reading a book by Endall Beall called Spiritual Pragmatism that covers mass psychological manipulation pretty well. Also, here is a link to a video produced back in the 80’s that covers the manipulation of mass psychology from a Marxist standpoint in depth.

Really interesting especially how music has such an often immediate and profound emotional effect on humans.
